CREATIVE POOL PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD
After trying to type an artists name from the IG account Dope Black Art into my phone and it being autocorrected, I spoke to Stu at PR agency Blurred who had just had a similar situation happen with the guestlist for his daughter’s birthday.
After we did some research and found 41% of children’s names were considered typos, I am not a Typo was born.
Teaming up with design agency Parent, we created a campaign which went around the world. Appearing on podcasts in the USA, TV News channels in Australia and in print in the Irish Times. We’ve also appeared on billboard sites in East London and on the entire bus network at Heathrow airport.
We’re determined to change technology so no-one’s name should be labelled as a typo.
